Lorin F. Berland, DDS
Fellow American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
 Lorin Berland, DDS, has built an international reputation for his expertise in cosmetic dentistry. He has developed an exclusive cosmetic and family dentistry practice in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Berland believes that improving his patients' smiles, through conservative cosmetic dental techniques, has a positive impact on their overall appearance and self-confidence. He dedicates his practice to informing and educating his patients and colleagues about cosmetic dentistry, regularly sharing his skills and techniques in seminars and lectures with dentists who travel to see him from around the globe. Mark D. Margolin, DDS
Periodontist & Dental Implantologist
 Dr. Margolin received his undergraduate degree from the George Washington University and his doctorate of dental surgery from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed a three-year residency specializing in periodontics and dental implants at the Oregon Health Sciences University where he served as chief resident during his final two years. Dr. Mark Achieved the status of diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2005, a verification of expert status in the field.
Dr. Mark has devoted significant time in teaching and research. He was an assistant professor of periodontology at the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dental Medicine from 2000-2003. Prior to his dental training, Dr. Mark worked in cardiovascular research at the North Shore University Hospital Biomedical Research Center. He contributed to bioengineering research, which led to the development of medical devices still in use in cardiovascular bypass surgery today. During his dental training, Dr. Mark did cellular research in a skin bank and grew skin grafts for burn victims. Dr. Mark continued his research during his hospital residency, concentrating on bone growth factors and sinus augmentation surgery. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals, and he was recognized for his efforts by being awarded the Quintessence Award for Student Research in 1994 and The California Society of Periodontists Award for Research in the Field of Dental Implantology in 1997. He also won the Northeast Society of Periodontists Student Periodontology Award in 1994.
Dr. Mark is an active member of the Dallas County Dental Society, serving on the membership development committee. He has been elected to the Dallas County peer review committee, as well.
Dr. Mark provides services for all aspects of periodontal therapy and dental implantology, but he has a particular interest in the field of esthetic periodontal plastic surgery. He has given numerous seminars on this topic, teaching esthetic dental surgery to other dentists. He has been a sponsored speaker for biomedical and dental implant companies and has been a featured speaker at the Southwest Dental Conference.
Dr. Mark lives in the Dallas Park Cities with wife Melissa, son Cole, and daughter Cate. When not working, he often takes his children to the park for some quality family time. Dr. Mark also enjoys playing indoor soccer, cooking, reading, photography, and traveling. |
 Diana O'Quinn, DDS
Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. O’Quinn earned her dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1993. She is a very dedicated, talented, and studious dentist who has accumulated hundreds of hours of continuing education. She has taken many continuums at the world renowned L. D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. There she acquired specialized knowledge about the functional aspects of the bite, joint and muscles as well as splint therapy. While working on her accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, she completed esthetic courses at Baylor College of Dentistry, and Louisiana Dental School. Her smile design and sculpting training combined with her functional knowledge helps to ensure a beautiful smile that will last for years to come. Dr. O holds two certifications with Align Technologies, the makers of Invisalign orthodontic systems. She also has advanced training in denture technology from the University of North Carolina and feels dentures to truly be a rewarding service. She loves dentistry and feels blessed to be part of this wonderful profession.
Dr. O and her husband Rex have two children, Kaitlyn and Matthew. Besides her family and professional life, she enjoys many outdoor activities, especially Ultimate Frisbee, where she travels the world playing competitively throughout the year. Over the last eight years she has also worked in the children’s ministry at her church.

Sarah Kim Kong, DDS
 Born and raised in the "Big D", Dr. Sarah Kong is familiar with Dallas and its people. Dr. Kong graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, where she has served on faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. She focuses on preventive and restorative dentistry, transitionals, anesthesia and periodontal care. Prior to entering dental school, Dr. K worked with a master ceramist in one of the world's finest dental laboratories. Many of the best dentists began their careers in this way. She is an active member in numerous professional organizations such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society. In addition, she has a passion for serving her community through her church and various outreach opportunities in dentistry.

David W. Canfield, DDS, FADSA
Dental Anesthesiologist
 Dr. Canfield earned his dental degree at U.C.L.A. School of Dentistry then completed a comprehensive residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh. He came to Dallas to teach at Baylor College of Dentistry as Coordinator of Pain and Anxiety Control. He is currently a medical consultant and anesthesia provider for the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation and Staff Anesthesiologist (Dental Unit), Veterans Administration Medical Center at Temple.
Dr. Canfield is a Fellow in General Anesthesia of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and formerly a Fellowship Examiner for the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a Diplomate of both the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also a Certified and Registered Hypnotherapist. |
 Kenneth F. White, DDS
Root Canal Dentist
Dr. White grew up in the Dallas area and is a 1988 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. We are proud of the reputation he has earned in his particular niche of general dentistry. In a career which is nearing two decades he has excelled at performing the finest in endodontics, or "root canal" services.
