The Wand Computer Controlled Anesthetic Delivery System

THE WAND® represents the first major technological advance in anesthetic delivery since the syringe was first invented nearly one hundred fifty years ago. This computer controlled anesthetic delivery system conquers fear of pain and anxiety. The Wand helps give our patients the highest quality dental care while addressing their concerns about the pain, fear and anxiety associated with standard syringe injections.
This device can be positioned more accurately and has a controlled  flow rate, delivering the correct amount of anesthetic at a rate that provides a steady level of comfort. Its disposable cartridge sheaths mean a safe, sterile procedure for each patient.
With this system, we can give almost painless injections and in certain cases, numb just one tooth.  What this all means to you, our patient, is less anesthetic, but a more profound numbing.  And that’s a good thing!

Ultrasonic Cleaners

Meticulous debridement is performed using ultrasonic technology prior to sterilizing dental instruments in our state-of-the-art autoclave machine.  We follow strict ADA guidelines to bring you the best in sterile instruments for each procedure.

Aquastat Water Distiller

We protect our patients by using only pure, fresh water.  The Aquastat distiller uses a patented distillation technology to kill harmful bacteria and viruses by flash vaporizing water and then reconstituting it through condensation.  It removes lead, copper, aluminum, arsenic, iron, nitrates, herbicides, pesticides, PCBs and more.  This new wave breakthrough effectively provides 99% pure, fresh water for the safety of our patients.

VELscope  

Early detection of mucosal abnormalities can result in successful treatment and management of most mucosal conditions.    The VELscope emits a safe, visible blue light into the oral cavity, which excites the oral tissue and causes it to fluoresce.  The VELscope System is an essential part of a state-of-the-art oral mucosal examination.  The VELscope helps you avoid some serious problems that otherwise would go undetected until it’s too late.

KAVO RONDOflex Air Abrasion

Air abrasion is a delicate method to remove tooth decay.  It blows a precise air stream of tiny, fine aluminum oxide particles out of its tip across the decayed area of the tooth. Because air abrasion cuts tooth surfaces with the utmost precision, it removes less tooth than a drill and treatment time is usually shorter. Very often this can be accomplished without anesthetic.

KAVO DIAGNOdent Laser Decay Finder

Cavitron Prophy-Jet

PROPHY-JET is an air polishing system which uses air, water, and either sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) or non-sodium powder to remove extrinsic stain, dental plaque and soft debris while simultaneously polishing tooth surfaces.  The Prophy-Jet is less abrasive than typical cleaning paste. 

Myotronics K-7 (CMS) Computerized Mandibular Scanning

The TENS Unit has been used successfully for many years in the symptomatic relief of chronic pain. TENS relieves pain by sending small, electrical impulses through electrodes placed on the skin.
